We had some high potential visitors last week visiting the site conducting advance wise audit training.
The team were made up of the Health & Safety Directors who were responsible for various countries (America, Africa, Canada, Malaysia) and a Site Director (Utrecht).
Also, the Overall Health & Safety Director for Danone Group and the Health & Safety Director for Dairy Division who were facilitating the trainers.
Chemstore was introduced to the visitors a part of our chemical safety procedures and the feedback and interest from this Chemstore Chempli data base was superb. The directors where extremely interested in it and feel it is something they need to implement in their own sites.
With Danone increasing its market share chemical safety and more importantly accountability is a high priority. Your system has been introduced to well recognised departments including agriculture and the food safety authority also.
So well done and thank you for all the help from the Danone safety team.

Shane and the team in Chemstore worked closely with several of our Research Fellows proposing a system for our award-winning labs in the Bernal Institute. The Chempli system has given our team a user-friendly system allowing full visibility of Chemicals & Equipment Inventory used and stored in specifically tagged safety cabinets within the labs. The Risk Management module allows our Research fellows and students to undertake Risk assessments in an easy-to-use manner with all critical data available instantly. This saves crucial time for our workers and makes us compliant.
The labs in Bernal are leading the way for the University of Limerick and have been showcased in our annual research days. In 2018, The Chempli software was a key showcase feature presented to Government officials including Fine Gael T.D. Kieran O’Donnell.

The team in Chemstore worked closely with several of our Lab Technicians and our Health & Safety Officer developing a system for our labs on the Moylish Campus. The Chempli system has given our team a ready for use system allowing full visibility of Chemicals & Equipment Inventory used and stored in specifically tagged safety cabinets and storerooms within the labs. The Risk Management module allows our Academic Lecturers, Lab Technicians and students to undertake Risk assessments in an easy-to-use manner with all critical data available instantly. This saves crucial time for our workers and makes us compliant. The ER site map provides a powerful tool and a visual for safety planning for Hazmat locations on site.
The labs in Moylish are setting an example for the rest of the institute and plans are in place to roll the Chempli system to our other facilities including the state of the art AS & IT building which is currently in development.
